Wheeless has a wealth of experience from working at multinational companies like Bechtel Corporation, Raytheon, CGI, and DynCorp, where she has handled global communications, reputation, M&A communications and crisis management.
She is a prominent voice on equity and justice, appearing in various media outlets, and is the immediate past chairman of the Page Society, the world’s leading professional association for senior PR and communications executives.
In 2021, Wheeless was selected as a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches community and her debut book, “You Are Enough! Reclaiming Your Life and Career with Purpose, Passion and Unapologetic Authenticity,” was a bestseller and won two independent book awards.
Wheeless is a certified leadership coach in multiple disciplines including Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder-Centered Coaching and the Georgetown University Institute or Leadership Coaching. Wheeless holds a BA in Journalism/PR, an MA in Public Communications, and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing, and is a member of several communications, speaking, and coaching organizations.
She serves on the board of trustees for the Page Society where she is the immediate past chair, the Page Center, the Institute for Public Relations, the Black Experience, and NOMore, an organization dedicated to eliminated domestic and sexual violence.
