144 – Courage to Leap & Lead with Dr. Tony Alessandra, part 1
Part one of a two-part episode. Dr. Tony Alessandra has a street-wise, college-smart perspective on business, having been raised in the housing projects of NYC to eventually realizing success as a graduate professor of marketing, Internet entrepreneur, business author, and hall-of-fame keynote speaker.
Tony worked his way through college selling cookware door-to-door for Saladmaster, winning numerous sales awards. He taught sales and marketing strategy at the university level from 1970 through 1978. In January 1979, he left academia to become a full-time professional speaker. In 2000, he started his online assessment company.
He is also a prolific author with 32 books, from his first book “Non-Manipulative Selling” to his most recent book, “What Makes Humans Tick” and is featured in over 100 audio/video programs and films, including Relationship Strategies.
